The most amazing article on the contradictory nature of a woman scorned.
The best meat lead me to Objectivism:
"A philosophy for living on earth".
And,
"In essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute."
Also,
"That women are ideally “hero worshippers” who should submit themselves, body and soul, to great men."
And,
Objectivism states that "Existence exists" and "Existence is Identity." To be is to be "an entity of a specific nature made of specific attributes." That which has no attributes does not and cannot exist. Hence, the axiom of identity: a thing is what it is. Whereas "existence exists" pertains to existence itself (whether something exists or not), the law of identity pertains to the nature of an object as being necessarily distinct from other objects (whether something exists as this or that). "A is A"."
Thus,
"To live, man must hold three things as the supreme and ruling values of his life: Reason, Purpose, Self-esteem."
Since,
"Reason" (the faculty that identifies and integrates the material provided by man's senses) is man's means of knowledge, it is also his greatest value, and its exercise his greatest virtue. "Man's mind is his basic tool of survival. Life is given to him, survival is not. His body is given to him, its sustenance is not. His mind is given to him, its content is not. To remain alive he must act and before he can act he must know the nature and purpose of his action. He cannot obtain his food without knowledge of food and of the way to obtain it. He cannot –– without a knowledge of his aim and the means to achieve it. To remain alive, he must think".

These can be,
in part some of the answers
to the meaning of life.
Its all relative, like religion and every other school of thought,
we take what we will and apply as we see fit.
But I will say,
Rand's ideals on women as "hero worshippers"
are contrary to how she actually lived her life.
And really not necessarily applicable to this day in age.
Because these "great men" she speaks of, are few and far between,
but I do believe if u happen upon one of these rare unheard of creatures.
Do just that.
Submit.
And,
how she says a thing "is what it is".
God how I loathe that line.
It sounds so cowardly.
I, for one, prefer
the golden rule as a means of living.
